Prizes & Raffle

The raffle is open only to in-person attendees of AWS Community Day South Florida who have registered for the event and are checked in on October 14, 2026 at Florida International University.

To win, you must meet every eligibility requirement to attend the event, including the requirements that apply to your ticket type. For example, a student ticket holder must have registered with a school-issued .edu email address and present a valid Student ID at check-in. If your ticket is cancelled or you are refused entry, you are not eligible.

Organizers of the event are not eligible to win.

No purchase beyond event registration is necessary, and there is no separate entry form. Checking in at the event enters you automatically.

Registering without checking in does not enter you. Only checked-in attendees are included in the drawing.

Winners are selected at random from the registration data of checked-in attendees. Each checked-in attendee has an equal chance of being selected for each prize.

Drawings take place in person during the event. The time and location will be announced at the event.

You must be present when your name is called. If the selected winner is not present, the prize is forfeited and another winner is drawn.

One person may win one prize only.

By entering, winners agree to be contacted by the event organizers about their prize.

By entering, you also accept that event sponsors may contact you. Sponsors may reach out using the contact details you provided at registration.

Prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and no substitutions are permitted, except that the organizers may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable.

AWS account credits are subject to the terms and conditions of the AWS credit program, including any expiration date and eligible services. Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to their prize.

The organizers' decisions on all matters relating to the raffle are final. The organizers may disqualify anyone who tampers with the process or violates the Code of Conduct, and may modify or cancel the raffle if circumstances require.

This raffle is run by the AWS Community Day South Florida organizers (the Miami AWS User Group and partner user groups). It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple Inc.
